The GMX Mach 80 is characterized by the presence of a front plate whose graphics present the brand in its original forms. The plate, made of thermoplastic material, is removable so as to allow the housing of different graphics, available as an accessory. The upper, made according to a hand manual process, is made with 3 mm thick leather and conveys all the historical know-how of a company that has made its roots in the Made in Italy.

In addition to the front plate, the boot is equipped with a steel toe and malleolus protection, placed to guard the most sensitive points. The closure is characterized by two buckles and a large strap positioned in the lateral area of the calf, which, in addition to keep the boot firmly on the foot, which allows quick and easy dressing.

Enhancing comfort and performance, the GMX Mach 80 incorporates anatomical, removable insoles that promote breathability during extended use. Gaerne's renowned Ideal construction technique, refined since 1962, guarantees sturdy sole structures, further complemented by easy resoling for prolonged durability.

Ernesto was 30 years old in October 1962 when he decided to start his own business. Behind him, despite his young age, an experience of over 15 years in the field of work and mountain footwear.

There are two circular motifs characterized by an intersection: a reference to the world of the two wheels with pedal and motor. The first Gaerne productions concerned in fact motorcycle boots, then at the beginning of the 80s, the road cycling and mountain bike shoes were introduced.
