The air filter is the heart of your engine, don't mess around with this incredibly important and essential maintenance item. 

This is a flame resistant filter to be specifically used with a backfire screen-less air filter cage. The underside of this filter is black. These filters are not pre-oiled.

Trapped particles can restrict airflow. And, if dirt works its way into your engine, a pinhead-sized granule will gouge your cylinder, piston and rings like a bullet.

In some respects, International Motocross was born in the Netherlands.

As the sport of Motocross grew in popularity over the next 25 years, it became clear that the air-filter technology of the day was inadequate. The filter itself was made of paper with a single layer of foam and could not provide sufficient protection from the sandy riding conditions in the dunes and fields of the Netherlands.
