New alloy buckles, heavy duty burn guard, toe dumper and the trademark Gaerne sole complete the task.
The "wrap-around" ankle pivot system provides strong lateral support without compromising flexibility.
The boot features a PU-injected front shin plate, anatomically shaped to offer robust support. Additional safeguards on the heel guarantee support in the event of rear compression. Optimal control in the toe area is guaranteed with the shift lever. Microfiber inserts strategically placed on the instep areas contribute to flexibility and overall comfort.
On the inner side, suede leather ensures exceptional grip on the bike and is heat-resistant, providing optimal control and reliable protection during rides.

The unique Gaerne floating system, allows the foot to move naturally and prevents ankle twisting without compromising flexibility. At the back of the boot, and fixed at two points, it runs inside two slots that limit movement in both directions preventing hyper extension or compression.
Closure system
Closure system consists of 4 light alloy replaceable buckles for an easy, fast and precise closure. By removing the first two buckles on the top it is possible to make the opening wider to accommodate a bigger leg or knee-brace.
