Brooks Saddles B72 was first featured in the 1935 catalogue. It is a light weight touring saddle with unique loop springs incorporated within the saddle, one of the first suspension systems patented by J.B. Brooks back at the end of the 1800's.
These saddles are meant for an altogether more leisurely type of cycling. With the great majority of the weight being supported by the rear quarter, the rear part of the saddle needs to be wider. The antique leather saddle features tubular steel rivets, and weighs +- 700 grams.
Billed as a light duty touring saddle, the B72 uses loop springs to cushion riders from rough city streets, and the wide, supportive shape is ideally suited to an upright riding posture.
